Hospital Emergency Response Training - Indirect Delivery B (HERT-B)
This course is designed to provide guidance to those hospital staff and health care facilities required to support a hospital's response to a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) involving contamination. The instruction is concentrated on teaching the criteria for developing, managing, and maintaining a HERT. This course includes discussion on how hospitals, health care facilities, and agencies prepare to assist with the processing of MCI casualties, safely and effectively. The Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP), Anniston, Alabama provides certification and credit hours for this training.
