Hospital Decontamination Awareness Class
This is a refresher, basic decontamination awareness class for health care providers. The training includes learning skills to recognize contaminated patients, identifying Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive-related (CBRNE) incidents, implementing health care response processes, protecting staff and facilities, and a review of the Health Care Incident Command System (HICS). A classroom setting is required as well as a large open area for ‘hands-on’ donning and doffing practice activities.
